how to sew a blanket

Today is our lucky day, Phoo brought us some cotton fabrics and Jiahui brought us threads.

Now we can start making a new blanket.

First of all, cut a piece of paper into a triangular shape. Then, place the triangular paper on top of the fabrics and cut accordingly.

Choose two colour combinations and fold over one another face to face and sew them together. Run the stitches twice for lasting effect.

sew them on the short side

combine and 

sew them into a square

run the stitches twice

Arrange the squares into the design and colour combination you like and sew them together. We make a 'star' design here.

Arrange to your liking.

Again, sew the large squares together.

Solid coloured edges would be added at the sides

 and a one-piece velvet or cotton fabric would be sewn underneath.
